Hawthorn Blossom

An original hawthorn blossom painting by Ella Cairns, inspired by a cluster of hawthorn trees on the North York Moors that pop in Spring.

Soft white petals open among a cluster of fresh new leaves, with touches of purple and deep plum as the background. The loose clusters reflect the fragility and fleeting nature of the blossom, while the amount signify a plentiful harvest ahead for the birds.

Measuring 100 × 100 cm, this large piece brings an injection of excitement and colour into the home and a promise of warmer days ahead.

This piece can also be ordered as a print. Just drop me a message for details.
